30 participants gathered for the second virtual workshop of the College Gateway Platform: Live Virtual Demo—and what an energizing session it was! From candid conversations to inspiring stories, the event brought the college journey to life in a way that was both informative and deeply personal.
We welcomed 30 students and parents from across Los Angeles for our #TheCollegeGateway financial aid workshop. Participants explored key areas of college planning, including financial aid sources, real-life student interviews, innovative planning tools, and a central hub for resources and deadlines. Special thanks to Revature for their generous merchandise support and to Teshena DeBrew from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, who shared valuable scholarship insights as our guest speaker. The event was filled with meaningful engagement, empowering families with the tools and knowledge to navigate the path to college success.
